In grade 1 it is most important that your child tries hard in all subject areas throughout the day. At home students are only encouraged to read with their parent 10-15 minutes each day.

This months virtue to focus on is LOVING. Encourage your child to show how they are loving and share it on Seesaw! It could be simple acts of kindness.
Stay up to date by reading my teacher to parent weekly emails. Here is a neat virtual math manipulatives site that was shared with me! Parents may find this useful to use with your child!
Before the March Break I sent home a letter (click the word for copy) listing suggested activities for the next two weeks. Please check your child's mailbag if you have not done so already. If you are looking for more ideas and activities please refer to the links on my homework page. I will also be sending out an email to each of you.
