I have had some students asking if they can do homework! Wow! I am so glad that there is such motivation to better their learning. Please see my homework page for links to worksheets that can be downloaded and printed at home. My only true homework request is to ensure that the children read every night.

Religion/Family Life: Focus on the Easter story and continued learning about the various Sacraments/Learning about Jesus and his journey.
Math: Using mental math strategies to solve math word problems, double digit addition and subtraction with/out regrouping; explaining math thinking with math words; exploring mass and capacity; Using skip counting strategies and exploring multiplication and division
Language: Reading strategy - Learning to infer by using background information, clues room the text, and thinking about what the author is trying to say; Writing a story; editing work by using "Bump Up" examples of writing pieces
Science: Simple machines and Animals in their habitats
Arts: Dance - using body movements to move to music; Drama - using body movements and voice to portray a character
Gym: cooperative games/ eye-hand coordination skills, scooter hockey; basketball skills
